Here are the specifications we use to bind comic books: General: - In basic comic binding, the height can be up to 11 inches tall and 9 inches wide x 2 inches thick.
- We oversew the pages.
- Allowed for spine stamping , 12 horizontal lines of print or decorative band (wide) or lengthwise stamping to fit in 9 1/8 inches.
Lettering: - In 18 point Arial font we can get 6 letters and spaces per linear inch
- In 12 point Arial Narrow we can get 10 letters and spaces per linear inch
- Basic foil colors are gold, white, black or silver
- Available additional colors yellow, red, orange, blue, brown, purple, green, copper, but these are subject to an additional charge (see below).
Costs: - Basic Cost in basic style 20.00 per volume. Two volume minimum for pricing.
- Staples need to be removed prior to receipt and all issues need to be in the correct order.
Additional charges apply - - Staple removal at bindery add 3.00
- Foil stamping other than gold, white, silver or black, add 5.00 per color choice per order
- Extra lines of spine stamping over 12 lines but limited to 25 lines add 1.00 per line per book
- Headbands : brown/white, blue/white, green/yellow, red/yellow, black add 4.00
- Black endsheets (white standard) add 2.50
